Camp Walden has its own four sided climbing tower connected to an eleven element continuous belay high ropes challenge course in which a participant can choose to cross at their own speed. The four sided, 28ft climbing tower has two climbing wall surfaces that incorporate different climbing angles to facilitate easier and harder climbing routes. The other two sides of the tower include a Vertical Playpen and Giant’s Ladder (Dangling Duo). The top of the tower has a 12’ x 12’ platform from which participants could transfer to other continuous belay traversing elements. Camp Walden uses a SmartSnap double locking self belay system designed to make it impossible for a participant to unlock themselves from the course by mistake. The elements included in the continuous belay challenge/ropes course are known by the following names: 1. Multivine (from climbing tower to tree traversing) 2. Horizontal Bridge (tree to tree traversing) 3. Pirates Crossing (tree to utility pole traversing) 4. Catwalk (utility pole to tree traversing) 5. Swing Chairs (tree to tree traversing) 6. Tension Traverse (tree to tree traversing) 7. Two Line (tree to tree traversing) 8. Giant Swing (course exit off Tower) - be sure to check this one out! :) 9.
