This class is essentially Bikram's Beginning Yoga Class without the heat. The class starts with a breathing exercise followed by a specific sequence of 26 postures each done twice. The first part of class is done standing up and consists of a series of warm up postures followed by a balancing series. The second part of class is done on the ground and consists of a spine strengthening series followed by a series of spine extension and compression postures. Class ends with a final breathing exercise and savasana. If you regularly practice this style of yoga in a hot room, please be mindful not to go as deep into the postures since the class will not be heated.
